Nota Architects has recently completed the HEYTEA Bakery in Hangzhou,China, that draws inspiration from tea plantations found in the mountains.
Stepping inside the bakery, you are immediately greeted by small upholstered barriers that guide you to the service counter, and also provide a place to lean while you wait for your order.
At one end of the bakery, there's a black tiled wall that surrounds a window, allowing you to have a glimpse of the bakers at work.
At the other end of the bakery is a seating area where the design inspiration can easily be seen in the form of tiered seating, that represents a sloping tea mountain. The staggered steps between the fields are available for rest, with upholstered green benches providing a comfortable place to relax between the planters.
